Thanksgiving Challenge Wrap Up

This past week as I focused on spending more time playing with my kids during the day, it helped me remember how much I love playing with them and reading with them.  I need to do that more often.  I also realized how often my kids ask me to do things when I am in the middle of something, and while I couldn't always say "yes", I did say it more than usual.  I sure love my family and am grateful for them.

If you did either of the 2 challenges with me, let me know on this post or the week one review post.  So far, Christina is winning the super special awesome prize since she's the only one who has claimed to complete the challenge with me, and since she lives in China I'd rather not ship it there.  (just kidding friend. I'd just save it for you)

I'll do the drawing next monday so you have 1 week to finish up if you're playing along.

I hope you all have a great thanksgiving.

  1. "Claimed" to complete the challenge? "Claimed"? If I were the type to get offended, I just might be by your obviously dubious acceptance of my "claim." Luckily, I'm not the type.

Also, you can put me down for this challenge as well, although it wasn't much of a challenge at this stage of my life because a) I am nearly always with the kids and b) I don't have much that currently distracts me from them. More often than not it is I who asks if they want to do something with me, like go shopping, or play a game, and it is they who say "uhm, not now mom, we are playing with each other." Sigh. I try.

    1. hahahaha. Sorry. Didn't notice the wording sounded skeptical.
